Is it necessary to buy error and omission insurance for web developers? I started a marketing company and the parties involving the creation of websites. |
I think it's a good idea that you buy E &O; insurance even if it is not really a requirement. Make sure that you will not have problems in terms of managing your expenses and make sure that you will not have any conflict with it. |
It is not necessarily a requirement, but it's probably a good idea. How you might need it would depend on the size and type of project you are working normally, how good you are at weeding customers inappropriate, and how your contract is written, I think. |
I would purchase E &O; for your business. If for some reason you were unable to complete or make up some expected results on a contract, you may be liable for loss of income incurred by your client. Another example would be an instance where you were editing or modification of a site and caused the entire site to malfunction, you will have a strong customer upset. Who will you defend? |
E & O insurance is usually the APC, lawyers, insurance agents, etc., but it could be a good choice for you as a web developer. Do you have peers who are in your situation you might even ask to see how they are handling the issue of liability? |
Apart from E & O that would be something solid to consider. I would also look into the responsibility of technology, responsibility and / or digital Liabiltiy Internet. Check to see if any of those apply. Each client has special circumstances that may require different covers. Talk to a good broker / agent ( me) and give them the. Down and dirty of what you do and what your concerns are, and they should be able to sleep with both eyes closed at night |

State Farm does some insurance ENO. I 'm sure other companies do. Million policy responsibility would be good. And perhaps a trade policy framework with a company policy. |
