General liability must always be the first line of defense to protect you against lawsuits from third parties.

When you develop with employees, focus on workers' compensation, EPLI and maybe if you're going to worry about prosecution of discrimination or wrongful termination.

You may or may not need coverage of goods according to the quantity of goods you have in the office, including but not limited to computer equipment, leasehold improvements, etc.

Hi Melissa,

Welcome to the boards, Im new here too!

Another good option to consider would be a " BOP " ( business owners policy ). They are perfect for small businesses. They gather all the necessary coverage in a policy ! ie. Building, property Biz ( computers, desks etc. etc. ) and liability ( third party coverage ). Coverage amounts are typical 1000000/2000000. This gives you $ 1 million per occurrence with an aggregate of 2 million. So you can have as many claims (less than $ 1 million each) and up to a total of $ 2,000,000 in the insurance period ( usually one year ). You can also get a policy 2000000 / 4000000. usually works 1ml / 2ml fine. And the best part.theyre Very cheap. Usually between $ 500 - $ 750.

Typically online auctions have no employees. But if you do, as Curt said, EPLI and Workers Comp is a must have.

Good luck. PM ( private message ) or IM (instant message ) me if you have any other qs.

Certainly, an online business is very different from the conventional one. I agree with Curtis : This insurance covers the risk of all offers of products or services provided to clients. Internet business owners should take advantage of the insurance coverage provided by various plans and should provide insurance for those aspects that are mandated by law.

Hello everyone.. These days all products need insurance because we can not guarantee for all products.. If we have the assurance of our product, we can even withstand risk incidents also..
